Lush Sandy Beach. Peaceful, even on a windy day.
Great Beach just off Cairns. If you are looking to be away from families, or crowds for that matter you should definitely aim at this beach. There isn't a lifeguard if you walk too far from the park center, but the nature will definitely make it worth it.
One of my favourite parks to go to with the kids on the north side. Beautifully green and well kept, Beach on the other side. Plenty of shade from big trees. High recommend checking it out.
Well looked after with free BBQ, great beach with stinger net. Lots of mosquitoes and sand flies after dark. Camping incurs a Fine.
Beautiful BBQ area in true Australian style! Typical of a Cairns lifestyle. 4 bbq's available in total with public restrooms close by, literally 5 metres from the beach, perfect in great weather. The children's play area seems to have had an upgrade over the past couple of years
