Absolutely wonderful service by a beautiful German lady whos name I have unfortunately forgotten! She was such a friendly, helpful and kind hearted person that made our experience exceptional. The store itself was filled with some of the most magnificent opals I have ever seen. My partner bought me a stunning opal ring at a very affordable price. We couldnt be happier with the service or the product! We have a couple of days left up in Port Douglas and we are planning on making another visit to the store. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality opals and exceptional customer service. Thank you!
We were in Cairns in Feb 2018 and my husband brought us to the mine to surprise me with a gift for my birthday. I was so happy and we picked a gorgeous ring.One wore the ring once on my birthday and one of the opals fell out. I was so upset but by that time we were in melbourne. So i tried to email them but the email bounced back. Later when we reached home (Malaysia) we were notified by Australian Tourist Refund Scheme that is not registered thus we cant get a refund which they indicated we would. After i got my ring fixed with another stone as i have no choice another opal chipped off.. What sort of quality and workmanship is this. It was expensive and i am so upset. What a scam...Don't go and waste your money here. I want to make an official complaint to the government for this too.
