Just popped in to buy some flowers, but got verbally assaulted by the owner of the shop! I simply asked him to not wrap my flowers to save packaging, when he refused and continued to wrap them he yelled at me that it's just paper and besides, I had other items with me wrapped in plastic. His eyes looked like they were about to explode from his head! He then yelled at me that I didn't even say Hello, which is crazy because I specifically looked at him and said hello as soon as I walked in. I walked away and didn't buy the flowers, of course. Poor old man. How can someone surrounded by flowers be so unhappy?
My husband brought me roses for Valentines day from this florist, they died after two days. I contacted the florist and the owner was very happy to replace the flowers. He advised he was suspicious and later found out his supplier had horded the flowers for VD, however he still sold them! We popped in to collect the replacement flowers the following Saturday on this occasion he wasnt as friendly but replaced the flowers anyway. He went out the back to get a bunch instead of taking the bunch I selected from the shop floor, in a different colour as well. Ok just went with it, after a lector in how to trim the stems - flowers replaced. They also died in two days, how rude to knowing replace something and waste our time and perhaps dont be so greedy to sell the flowers you know are old in the first instance. Wont go back, shame as my hubby likes to buy me flowers regularly.
Lovely local flowers. The shop owner spent time trimming all the thorns off the roses and making them the same length before wrapping them in nice brown paper (not plastic).
I was really impressed with the service I got from the gentleman who served me. I told him how much I wanted to spend and the theme. The bunch he put together was far better than what I could have requested. It was great personal service. Definitely will be back.
Flowers were lovely. However - I requested a specific value and had been charged an additional $40 when I checked my credit card. Still waiting on a response to my email!!
